Krzysztof Kopeć
Born: 1972, Chorzów
Studies on Institute of Artistic Education WSP in Częstochowa.
1999 - Diploma in painting specialization by professor Wincenty Maszkowski studio.
2002 - Completion of Postgraduate Drawing & Painting College by Academy
of Fine Arts in Wrocław, painting specialization by professor Leszek Mickoś
studio.
From 2004 belongs to Polish Plastic Artists Association (ZPAP).
2005 - Rewarded by Katowice's ZPAP for "Artwork of the year 2004".

has taken in 11 individual and 11 collective exhibitions, including foreign
one in Köln (2005). Numerous works are placed at collection in Poland and abroad.
His creative activity presents painting
executed in blend technique, drawings
of Silesian wood churches and copies
of painting masters.
Painting - artist except the paints uses plaster, paint glue, sand, cardboard
and sheet metal.
Due to these materials he tries to explore the problem of painting's matter.
Silesian landscape is undoubtedly for him an inspiration for the abstract compositions.
Drawings of Silesian wooden churches - is a result of several years with experience
and interest
of churches situated in the area. Almost 50 monuments of wood building were
visited, recorded and reflect in artist work, and he hasn't finished yet because
there is about 120 which are preserved.
The works are executed in blend technique - feather, ink, charcoal, pastel.
He also does copy of oil paintings, such as:
H. Bosch, P. Bruegel, C. Monet, Van Gogh, G. Klimt, P. Cezanne, S. Dali.
